Grape: Primativo - Primitivo traces back to the ancient Phoenicians who settled in Apulia (Puglia). Legend says it was the wine served at the Last Supper. It is the Italian name for Zinfandel, but has a slightly different style than California Zin.
Appellation: IGT Salento, Puglia, Italy
Style: Medium bodied. Aged in Stainless Steel (no oak)
Flavors: Fruit forward with flavors of red berries & sweet tobacco. Less jammy than some California Zins and a bit more rustic.
