Sinfarosa 2018 Primativo Zinfandel 750ml

Grape: 100% Primitivo. The fruit comes from selected bunches of the variety in Manduria, over grafted Californian Zinfandel scions coming from one of the most important vineyards in America: the famous Ridge Geyserville. The vines grow at 70–90 metres above sea level, in black soils of alluvial origin, deposits originating from the decomposition of organic material (ancient forests) and rock erosion. 

Region: Manduria, Italy

Notes: Powerful. Rich nose of black pepper, rhubarb, liquorice and black cherry. Round and full mouthfeel with firm tannins, incredible persistence, and warm flavours revealing menthol and balsamic notes well into the finish.
