Winemaker Notes

Refined and well defined with a lovely play of savory and sweet. Deep aromatics of cinnamon, clove, cassis, and berries. These aromas carry over to the palate which is supple with opulent black cherry and cranberry fruit and notes of spice, dark chocolate, and graphite. High tones and silky tannin's keep the wine in focus, providing a complex structure and lingering finish.

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is fabulous. Bright, effusive aromatics lift a core of blue/purplish berry fruit. Sweet spice, licorice, menthol and blueberry jam all race out of the glass. Alexander Valley and Moon Mountain are fertile sources for Cabernet that delivers terrific value. Drinking window: 2021 - 2025
