Female Winemaker - Marilina Paternò manages the 60 hectares in the Province of Siracusa originally purchased by her father, Angelo. Aside from 35 hectares of grape vines grown organically, Marilina harbors a diversity of species on the property, following the principles of polyculture. Her ‘Sikelè’ is an orange wine made from a single variety, grecanico, known elsewhere in Italy as garganega.
