Why I love it: This Bordeaux is a bit more warm weather friendly! It is medium bodied and softer than some. It was made by a female winemaker, is certified organic & biodynamic, and was just absolutely spectacular at a great price!
About: Rachel Hubert is the sixth generation to own and operate Château Peybonhomme-Les Tours in the northern right bank of Bordeaux (Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux). Rachel took over the estate from parents Jean-Luc and Catherine, whose family owned and operated the Château for generations. Together with a team of women viticulturists, she represents the largest certified biodynamic estate in the region.
