Vivid ruby. Spice-accented aromas of cherry, black raspberry and candied licorice, plus a floral accent in the background. Shows fine clarity and spicy lift to the bitter cherry and dark berry flavors, which deepen as the wine opens up. Finishes on a subtly chewy note, with firm, spicy thrust, broad tannins and very good persistence.
